L'intelligence des faits
Since it was founded in 1981, Indigo Publications continues to excel in seeking out and publishing hard-to-find confidential news for a specialized readership. As an independent concern with no ties to either government or political movements, Indigo Publications can guarantee news that is fresh, objective and carefully-researched. Indigo pays its costs entirely out of its subscriptions since it neither runs advertising nor enjoy subsidies. As a result, articles on the two webs, Intelligence Online and Africa Intelligence, are paid by users at similar rates to those of the hard-copy edition. However, key-word searches and the creation of user profiles, are free of charge, enabling subscribers to buy only the articles which really meet their needs.

Our publications

The Indian Ocean Newsletter is, without a doubt, the publication of reference for political and economic news from East Africa. No other publication covers this region of the world with the same regularity and level of exclusivity.

For over 15 years, La Lettre du Continent has taken its readers to the very heart of political, business and financial affairs in French-speaking Africa. The newsletter’s exclusive reports are always awaited with eagerness, and often with disquiet, too, in presidential palaces, ministries and the headquarters of large companies.

Africa Energy Intelligence is the first publication on oil, gas and electricity in Africa. Created in 1983, when it bore the name Africa Energy and Mines, the publication became Africa Energy Intelligence at the end of 2000, when it also saw the printed edition’s life extended via daily updates on the Internet. Africa Energy Intelligence draws the uniqueness and credibility of its news from a network of correspondents around the world.

Africa Mining Intelligence is the only publication devoted in its entirety to African mining. Launched in 2000, it benefits from the far-reaching archives of its predecessor, Africa Energy and Mining, founded in 1983. Africa Mining Intelligence has a network of correspondents in Africa, Europe and North America.

Intelligence Online is the first system of political and economic intelligence. It deciphers all influence-bringing activities around the world those that originate from lobbying groups, intelligence services, or economic intelligence unites. It evaluates emerging risks - terrorism, proliferation, organised crime, money laundering, political instability - around the globe.

With its rapid-fire style and concise articles, Maghreb Confidential allows its readers to move forward quickly. The aim is to get straight to the point, and to stay one step ahead of the news, allowing strategic decision-makers to anticipate the events of tomorrow, today. No other publication has as incisive an insight into events in North Africa.

Our collection of guides, The Top 100 People, is an indispensable tool for those who want to know who’s who and who does what in Africa. Updated regularly, the guides contain an introduction, which allows each country’s principal networks of power to be deciphered and understood, followed by dozens of biographies of the true decision-makers and hundreds of useful contacts in political and business circles. In addition, Africa in Washington lets you identify the key players in US policies in Africa.
